Leusdon Memorial Hall has recently undergone a revamp and updating with improved heating, lighting and total redecoration so it is now able to offer enhanced facilities.
There is vehicle access for disabled drivers and passengers making it possible to drive to a level drop off point immediately adjacent to the Hall.
There is parking for at least 50 cars within 20 yards of the hall.
Other facilities include:
- Kitchen with fitted cooker and fridge
- Toilets including Disabled and Baby Changing Facilities
- A Stage
There are facilities to cater for up to 100 people including tables, chairs, cutlery and crockery
Regular activities are:
- Whist Drives every fortnight
- Monthly Coffee mornings and table top sale, hugely popular amongst residents and visitors alike.
- Weekly Choir Practise
- Badminton
- Bingo
- Afternoon Teas which have a growing following
Leusdon Memorial Hall has also been home to the Moorland Merrymakers for the past 50 years who put on shows playing to up to 800 people a year.
