Artisan Craft Market 2025

Weekly Thursday Artisan Craft Market at Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Dartmoor, in the National Trust’s 16th Century Church House, TQ13 7TA.

There is also a produce market on the fourth Saturday of the month in the same venue.

A variety of hand-made craft, all created by the Devon crafters exhibiting. Inspired by the stunning landscape of the Dartmoor National Park. A typical range may include ceramics, classical film photography (analogue) of Dartmoor, quality iron work, needle felted wildlife, hand-made books, artisan wood turning, felted artwork & up-cycled bags, bird boxes, knit wear, cushions, mosaics, crochet, textiles, children’s clothing, laser crafted keepsakes, and jewellery.

There is plenty more to see in this quaint Dartmoor Village. Some of the highlights include fantastic panoramic views of the village and surrounding moor, scenic walks, challenging on and off-road cycling, horse riding, two pubs, large car parks (one of which offers overnight stays for campervans) with public conveniences, a café, the ‘Cathedral in the Moor’, (a wonderful 16th Century Church), accommodation offering Bed and Breakfast, The Smithy Pottery, gift shops, Sexton’s Cottage – a lifestyle, art and local gift shop, and home of Uncle Tom Cobley’s Widecombe Fair (held annually on the second Tuesday of September).
