The public and members of the Parish Council are invited to comment on items on the agenda or any other matter they feel should be brought to the attention of the Parish Council

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Members are reminded of their responsibility to continually update their Notice of Registerable Interests and invited to state whether they have a personal or prejudicial interest in any matter to be discussed during this meeting.

To approve and sign the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 14th June 2012

8. NEW STANDARDS REGIME AND CODE OF CONDUCT PROVISIONS
(i) To inform Councillors of the need to adopt a new Code of Conduct to comply with the provisions of the Localism Act 2011
(ii) To inform Councillors of the requirement to complete the Register of Interest. New regulations set out a new provision ‘Disclosable Pecuniary Interests’ which sets out interests which must be registered. Members are also asked to note the requirement that all Register of Interest are published on the parish council website.
9. MATTERS ARISING
(a) Stone steps on Village Green – to report on action taken
(b) Widecombe Fair – to address any outstanding matters
(c) Walk-about inspection – to report on items raised on the walk-about inspection which required action
(d) Strimming around the village – to confirm if required
(e) Insurance – to receive a response from the Council’s insurers in response to queries raised
(f) Funding Opportunity – Dartmoor Sustainable Development Fund (DSDF) (up to £400)
(g) North Hall field – to update members on DNPA’s position
(h) Connecting Dartmoor! – Getting Superfast Broadband for Dartmoor – to receive information about DNPA’s bid to the Rural Community Broadband Fund and to consider sending a letter of support showing evidence of community need and demand for a better broadband service.
(i) Consultations:
(i) DCC – Review of Waste Management Strategy for Devon
(ii) TDC – Community Assets
10. FINANCE
(a) Payments for approval:

11. PLANNING
(a) New applications/appeals
(i) 0359/12 – Erection of agricultural livestock building (12.2m x 18.3m) at field 8933, Cator Ground, adj to Riddon Farm, Widecombe-in-the-Moor
(ii) 0353/12 – Retention of temporary classroom including exterior cladding at County Primary School, Widecombe-in-the-Moor
(iii) 0321/12 – Demolition of existing conservatory, erection of open fronted verandah, dormer windows and extension to create link corridor, and w.c. at Stable Cottage, Higher Natsworthy, Widecombe-in-the-Moor
